Explanation On The Definition Of The Abbreviation Of The Sulzer Projectile Loom
Different letter combinations of "abbreviations" often appear in the accessory codes of the SULZER projectile loom, representing different meanings. 1、 ES refers to a monochrome projectile loom;
2、 MS refers to a multi-color projectile loom, which includes (VSD, VSK, VSI, MW, ZSD, ZSM).
VSD=A projectile loom with four colors, directly controlled by a dobby machine.
VSK=Four color projectile loom, controlled by its own punching card.
VSI=Four color loom, controlled by a jacquard machine.
MW=Weft mixer.
ZSD=Dual color loom, directly controlled by a dobby machine.
ZSM=dual color loom, controlled by a tread opening device.
3、 Explanation of abbreviations in the description of shuttle feeding on projectile looms.
110 °=picking time for a loom with a nominal width of 143 inches to 213 inches.
120 °=the picking time of a projectile loom with a nominal width of 130 inches.
135 °=the picking time of a Sulzer loom with a nominal door width of 110 inches.
150 °=the picking time of a projectile loom with a nominal width of 73 inches and 85 inches.
Note: The letter "S" on the model nameplate of the Swiss SULZER projectile loom before the picking time indicates that the loom has a symmetrical reed drive device. Before the loom position degree group, any letter "S" indicates that it is suitable for looms with symmetrical reed drive devices. On the contrary, the degree group without the letter "S" is applicable to any type of loom with reed drive.
