Processing Instructions Of Loom Reeds
Processing instructions of Loom reeds: Loom reeds are used on Loom for orderly arrangement of warp yarns and equal order division of warp yarn density of weaving cloth surface. The reeds used on manual wood looms need to increase the length of through teeth (reeds expose wood strips) properly to facilitate the fixation of clamping slots on old wood Loom. Due to the design of Loom reed processing equipment and the limitation of wire arm, The length of the teeth on both sides of the textile reed varies by approximately 1-2mm.
The height of the Loom reed can be processed to 11.5-14cm. The two sides of the (semicircular) batten on the Loom buckle are shown in the following figure:
The tooth length of the steel reed on the wooden loom can be processed to approximately 9.3mm on the left side and 8mm on the right side, as shown in the following figure:
This kind of Loom reed generally has a length of about 50 cm. The processing drawing of the finished Loom reed is as follows:
The processing of reeds on profiled Loom is slow and the technical requirements are strict. The products need to be processed with thin reed teeth (sheets) during the processing, which is convenient for manual weaving.
