The Cause And Result of The Phenomenon of Clamp Shuttle Tail During the Weaving Process of The Loom

The tail of the shuttle is a common malfunction during the weaving process of the loom. The maintenance and repair techniques of the loom are analyzed as follows:

The reason for the occurrence of shuttle tail on the weaving machine:

1. Small lateral throwing force

(1) The leather knot (shuttle knot) is damaged. The main body of the skin structure is cracked, and the tongue of the skin structure is severely worn.

(2) The shuttle bounces back.

(3) The picking nose F4 is loose.

(4) The side panel brackets F6 and F7 are loose.

(5) Side lever Q12 or 3302 is broken, side panel caps F2, F119, F120 bolts are loose, and side panel pad R22 is worn.

(6) The shuttle rods (picking stick) Q13 and Q14 are broken, and the bolts are loose and unable to retract properly.

(7) The key D17 for the bent shaft gear and E8 for the pedal shaft gear are loose and have missing teeth.

2. The opening and shuttle time do not match

(1) The key for the bent shaft gear and the key for the pedal shaft gear are loose, and the teeth are missing.

(2) The bolt core F13 of the shuttle rotor is loose.

The consequences of a tangled tail

(1) Broken edge yarn.

(2) Rolling shuttle.

(3) The weft fork J32 is jumping abnormally.

Inspect and eliminate the faults of the weaving machine one by one. The reasons listed above are applicable to most weaving machines and are the direct and main causes of the faults. Through years of accumulated maintenance experience, it is possible to quickly identify the cause of the malfunction and carry out timely repairs to a certain extent.
